Philip Carney, began Download Dolphin. Much like the way the internet itself was hidden from the public for decades, Download Dolphin was only in the hands of few people until recently. It became free when the software interface designer and marketing consultant, John F. Keane, added his skills to the Download Dolphin Team.Previously, Download Dolphin was not free and unpublicised; it was a private tool that only a handful of people were allowed to use.
