Relational Data Explorer - RDE is a tool to comfortably navigate between dbms tables along foreign key relationships defined via sql. It is not a dbms admin. tool, but a quick&easy viewer for a larger number of tables, targeted at home, small business and support users. Relational Data Explorer (RDE) is a tool to comfortably navigate between database tables connected by foreign key relationships. It is not meant as database administration tool, but as viewer tool that allows the user to do all the task necessary to find information in a larger network of tables.The definition of the relationships and dialog structures is done nearly completely by using SQL. Currently the following database systems are supported by native interface: - MySQL - SQLite3 - PostgreSQL - Oracle A lot of other systems are supported via ODBC (esp. MS SQL- Server, Access) So the target is to provide an easy to use and easy to configure development platform for database investigation tasks. RDE is meant to do its job in those cases, where you do not need the full complexity of a database application, i.e. in the home and small business area.
